Terms and conditions – Wedding Stationery/ Announcements/ Special Occasions

Quality
All our stationery is handmade to order. Only the best quality materials are used to embellish and finish our cards and due to the handmade nature of the design, there will inevitably be some minor variation in colour/material. Therefore this means that no two cards will be exactly the same and that of course is what makes them unique. Please note these cards are not toys, due to the use of small embellishments, which can easily be removed, cards should be kept out of the reach of babies and small children.

Agreeing Your Order
When a design has been agreed verbally, proofs will be sent, together with a copy of the terms and conditions.  If all is well, you should sign and return the proofs and the terms and conditions to say that everything is correct and work can proceed.  All text to be printed should be typed and either sent by post or emailed to us to ensure correct spelling of names and places.

Prices
Prices quoted for stationery include one printed insert in each invitation. Standard inserts are white or cream to match the card and are printed in black ink. Our prices also include a white envelope with each invitation. All prices are exclusive of Post  & Packaging.  Prices are subject to increase at any time. This does not affect any order already confirmed.

Payment 
I currently only accept payment by cheque or bank transfer.

Deposit 
50% of the final total is required as deposit, unless your total is less than £50, then full payment is required. When your deposit is received work will begin on your order and your deposit will become non-refundable. Once a deposit is paid, the balance will be due no later than two weeks before the order is sent.  A reminder will be sent out.

Changing or Cancelling an Order
 If you wish to cancel your order after work has commenced, any deposit paid is non-refundable.  If you wish to change an order, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss.  Any changes required after work has begun may incur extra costs and some changes may not be possible due to the availability of materials.

 Proofs / Errors 
Once I have had your signed proofs, or an email confirming your approval of the proof, I accept that as a confirmation that the design and wording of the card is as you require it. If an error is made after that date then I will of course amend it free of charge. If the error is found to be your fault, then you must meet any additional charge.
 
Post and Packaging
Post & Packaging will be charged at cost.  All orders are securely packaged and will be sent by Royal Mail 'Special Delivery'.  If you require extra insurance, this will also be charged at cost.
